"Puppets - Depression to Recession"
Description:
A collection of puppets made by W.P.A. artists at the Nelson Atkins Museum during the depression and loaned by Jean Baldwin and James Seidelman are the featured exhibit. Also on display is a collection of puppets by Ray Moore from Tennessee and some unusual needle "felted" puppets by Pam Corcoran of Wisconsin. Tue-Sat 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. $3 adults, $1.50 children to age 16 (extra fee to make puppet). (816) 833-9777 or www.hazelle.org.
