Water Pollution Control Department

The Water Pollution Control Department is a city-owned utility dedicated to protecting the environment and health of the community by providing cost effective wastewater and stormwater services.

WPC serves over 50,000 customers and maintains over 578 miles of sanitary sewers, and over 300 miles of storm sewer systems. The Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the City's wastewater treatment plant, 10 pumping stations, and 14 regional detention basins.
